Undergraduate Programme in Dementia Studies

We have recently redesigned our undergraduate programme at the Dementia Centre which will provide students with much more in-depth knowledge and choice for learning about dementia care and achieve accreditation. We currently have two undergradaute modules both of which are distant learning courses. Each module uses a blended learning approach and involves:

• • a two day introductory session at the University campus or local centre
• • a study workbook and access to an e-learning programme
• • a focus on practice change and skills development
• • an assessment of learning
