Welcome to The Dementia Services Development Centre - Northern Ireland (DSDC-NI), a new resource for Northern Ireland which has been funded by The Atlantic Philanthropies as a pilot project for two years until 2009.

The Dementia Advisory Group is working to establish the necessary funding that will enable the DSDC – NI to continue beyond 2009.

The Centre in Northern Ireland has been set up as a branch of The Dementia Services Development Centre, University of Stirling which was established in 1989 and exists to improve people’s understanding and knowledge of dementia.

The Dementia Services Development Centre is delighted to have the opportunity of working in strong partnership with Northern Ireland.
