Database searches and reading lists The DSDC holds around 12,000 books, reports and journal articles on dementia care, and can provide individual database searches. Charges where applicable are available on request. We also provide free reading lists which are available as downloads below:
- Document Delivery
The centre provides a photocopying service (copyright permitting).
- Library Services
The Northern Ireland centre holds a small specialist collection which is open to the public 10.00 to 16.00 - Monday to Friday. Please make an appointment if you wish to view our online catalogue, browse the collection or require advice. Alternatively, please download the current holdings catalogues as below
- Loans Service
Books and reports may be borrowed for a two-week period. Postal loans are available on request.

Current Awareness Service The centre provides a subscription news service, 10 editions of Dementia Now are issued per year, to ensure you or your organisation can keep up to date with all current issues and publications relating to dementia care. New online catalogue
Stirling DSDC's library catalogue is now available to search online as a member library of Shelcat (Scottish Health Libraries Catalogue)
