The Dementia Services Development Trust
The Dementia Services Development Trust exists to extend and improve services for people with dementia and their carers. The Trust has funded the work of The DSDC-NI, through a generous grant from The Atlantic Philanthropies which will allow the Centre to operate for two years until 2009. The Centre in NI will be operated by the University of Stirling over the next 2 years and will hand over the Centre to be run locally when future funding is found. The Dementia Advisory Group is working to secure this funding and ensure the Centre continues to operate in the longer term.
